Introductory Glider Flight Lesson Options

This is your first step to becoming a glider pilot!
Gift Certificates are available.


½ day course     $99
includes:
  • 1 hour ground school class
  (class material applies to both new students and power pilots)
  • Glider pilot's log book to record your first glider flight lesson
  • FAA Glider Flying Handbook
  • 3 month membership in the Soaring Society of America
  • 3000' tow glider flight lesson with a glider instructor
  • Ground operations training while other students are flying


Private 2 hour session   $349
includes:
  • Private ground and flight instruction
  • Glider pilot's log book to record your first glider flight lessons
  • FAA Glider Flying Handbook
  • 3 month membership in the Soaring Society of America
  • Two(2) 4500' tow glider flight lessons with a glider instructor


HGC Rates

  • Instruction $63/hr

    Discount instructor rates:

        Full day rate (8 hours) save 25%
        ½ day rate (4 hours) save 16%
  • Glider Rental $60/hr
  • Tows
          Hook up $7 per tow
          Altitude $23 per 1000 feet
          Fuel surcharge (when fuel prices are high)
